Sustainability
Our fuel products are all sustainably sourced. Our firewood comes from local, ethically managed woodland and forestry where there are replanting schemes in place. We maintain excellent relationships with the British Forestry Commission and local forestry companies and coppice groups. Our Approved Coal Merchant status means you can be confident that you’re getting the best-quality coal.
Just as our fuel products are as sustainable as possible, so are our working practices. At our farm in Coneyhurst, we built our offices using reclaimed materials, including old shipping containers and items we’ve rescued over the years and kept around the yard to upcycle and reuse. In 2023, we installed solar panels to help offset our carbon usage.
