Our loose seasoned ash and birch logs are dried throughout the summer in our barn, and delivered to you split and ready for burning on open fires, wood-burners and multi-fuel stoves. With a low moisture content (22% or less), our seasoned hardwood logs are easy to light, burn cleanly and produce more heat than unseasoned logs with a higher moisture content.
Our delivery lorries are fitted with sections measuring 1.2, 2.4 and 3.6m
3 and are loosely loaded in what we call a ‘thrown load’. We’ll deliver your logs loose outside your home, so please make sure you have space available to receive your logs – and if the weather is wet, leave a cover out for us so we can keep your logs as dry as possible.
